Scripture promises abundant life so why is it that so many of us feel that we are living anything but? Have you ever thought something like this..."I go to church every week, I read His Word every day, I pray and I pray and I try to do the right thing but still can't seem to get my life in order. Do you find yourself with so many demands placed upon you either by yourself or by others that you don't have any time left to enjoy a moment? Or do you put forth a great deal of effort to improve your relationships with your family and others yet nothing seems to change for the better? We do not offer a get rich scheme nor a secret power of positive thinking technique nor a quick fix for all that ails you. We do provide a biblically sound process involving the renewal of our minds and the inner transformation of ourselves, with the guidance of the Spirit, that will lead us into the life we desire. It's not a magic bullet but a pathway which has led countless others to resolve conflicts, inspired teens to accept responsibility and take charge of their lives, allowed parents to Let Go  of their young adult children with confidence and Take Hold of their own futures discovering or rediscovering a passion for life most had not known before.

Lord, we are bound by chains of adversity and chords of affliction. Please show us the true character of our deeds and transgressions, open our ears to your voice of instruction that we may return from iniquity so that we may serve you and spend our years in pleasantness and joy. Philia Groups meet every other week offering encouragement, and support but are so much more than a 'support' group! Within the small groups we learn from each other.
